Things to Do in Sciacca

Sciacca is a working port and spa town on the south-west coast, about 35 minutes from Agrigento, built on thermal springs that still supply a public spa complex rather than a tourist gimmick. The old town's ceramics tradition is genuine and less commercialised than Caltagirone's, with small workshops selling directly rather than through souvenir stalls. It's a quieter stop than its neighbours — good for a slower day, not for ticking off a headline sight.
